The British Franchise Association has long played an important role in helping potential franchisees to recognise and invest in franchises of the highest quality. Any company that wants to earn bfa accreditation must test itself against their strict and extensive criteria. So, it’s with great pride that we can announce busylizzy has now been accredited as an Associate Member of the bfa.
This achievement acknowledges that busylizzy have met all the bfa’s criteria, covering: the structure of the business; the terms of contract between franchisor and franchisee; the business model and its success as a franchise.
Far from a tick box exercise, being an Associate Member demonstrates an ongoing commitment to a strict code of ethics and system sustainability. From the recruiting and selecting of franchisees to working with them to develop a their own profitable membership model – the code of ethics reinforces that, as a franchise, busylizzy offers the support, respect, training and know-how that club owners need to succeed.
And it’s not just about where busylizzy is as a business today. It’s about where it’s going too. The bfa accreditation process has been used by busylizzy to further improve its franchise system. In particular, the process has helped busylizzy to refine its Franchise Agreement and online operation portal – offering a more defined relationship between head office and the club owners.
Julie Clabby, busylizzy founder, shares her excitement at joining the bfa family:
“It’s an amazing achievement to be recognised by the bfa and busylizzy is proud to celebrate our new status as a bfa Associate Member. The bfa has some of the world’s best franchises as members. To be included amongst these goes to show that all the hard work we put into developing an effective membership business model, offering a unique proposition and supporting our clubs has paid off.”
