As a direct response to COVID, Busylizzy classes were taken online and a timetable of Facebook live streamed Baby, Postnatal Fitness and Pregnancy classes were offered to Busylizzy members. The response was great – so much so, new Busylizzy members joined from across the U.K and from areas where face to face classes have never taken place before.
Julie Clabby Founder said “It has been a challenging time for every business this year and we are hugely grateful for the support our members have shown for their local Busylizzy clubs.” Julie added, “Watching parents from across the country and even abroad join Busylizzy this summer was humbling and a testament to the hard work our team have put into running the online space”.
Busylizzy haven’t rested on their laurels so although the Facebook live stream has proved popular, throughout the summer Busylizzy have invested further in the online space to provide parents with a 2 way interactive class schedule via Zoom and via a new video library of On Demand sessions accessed via the member log in area on the website.
Confident there could be a 2nd or even 3rd lockdown and buoyed by the feedback from parents that an online class provision provides a flexible solution to enjoy Busylizzy at home when life with a baby doesn’t go to plan, the Busylizzy team set about enhancing and future proofing the online space for members.
Julie said “When we created the online space, we hadn’t anticipated the huge demand for our classes from across the country. It has been incredible watching parents and little ones enjoying classes in parts of the U.K we have never operated before and to now provide online classes via Facebook live streams, Zoom 2 way interactive sessions and Online Video Library is fantastic. What a great resource for new and expectant parents!”
Zoom classes and the Busylizzy Class video library start in September 2020 to support parents throughout the winter and beyond.
