1 – A proven formula
A franchise comes with an operations manual. This is the all singing, all dancing manual that tells you exactly how to run your business. Our Busylizzy manual includes everything from marketing campaigns to managing accounts, setting up your team and their qualifications to GDPR and payroll. When investing in a  franchise, you are buying a tried and tested model. Implement the manual in it’s entirety and the results will be replicated.
2 – It’s regulated
The British Franchise Association provide membership status to approx 1/3rd of all franchise businesses in the U.K. Membership is only awarded to businesses who have proven they are sustainable, ethical and have a robust business model to the bfa panel of experts. Gaining accreditation is so much more than a tick box exercise. Legal agreements are checked by franchise lawyers, systems and processes explored and financial success / business plans blueprinted. From ethical recruitment to the training and support – no stone is left unturned. Needless to say at Busylizzy, we are proud to be bfa members.
3 – Support when required
A franchise business comes with a ready made network of support staff and fellow franchise owners. It’s an opportunity to work for yourself but not by yourself. Busylizzy franchise owners share ideas in our ‘secret’ Facebook page and meet for coffee and regular business review forums. Self employment can be lonely but being part of a franchise gives you the support when you need it.
4 – No experience needed
Running a management franchise business requires good organisational skills, great people management and the ability to sell your service or product in your territory. Your time is spent managing your team and making sure they deliver on the services and sales. Busylizzy franchise owners come from a variety of backgrounds including HR, PR, Admin, Legal and Project Management to name a few. Business owners do not teach the classes and have no experience working in fitness or with children but instead they manage and motivate their teams to deliver a great club experience and to drive membership growth.
5 – Investment
Like a rental property, the right franchise business is a great investment. Set it up, nurture and grow it. When the time is right, you can sell your franchise as a business resale and cash in on your growing asset. It is not unusual to set out your business exit plan before starting your franchise journey. Map out what success looks like in a business plan, achieve your objectives and exit the business to release your investment and more!
